REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

1. Moving Services (Porter & Pilot)
  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled job → Eligible for a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the job → Subject to a 25% cancellation fee, which covers reserved time, staff scheduling, and lost availability.

  • Same-day cancellations → No refund will be issued.

  • If you wish to reschedule, we will do our best to accommodate your new date and time, subject to availability.

2. Storage Services
  • Storage is billed on a monthly basis, with payment due at the start of each month.

  • If you cancel before collection day, you will receive a full refund.

  • If you cancel after items have been collected, no refund will be issued for the initial storage term paid.

  • Long-term storage discounts (e.g. 3+ months) are based on the agreed commitment. Early termination may result in loss of the discount, and charges will revert to the standard monthly rate.

3. Packaging Materials
  • Packaging orders (boxes, tape, bubble wrap, etc.) can be cancelled for a full refund if the order has not yet been dispatched.

  • Once dispatched, cancellations are not possible. However, faulty or damaged products may be returned or exchanged in line with your statutory rights.

4. Refund Processing
  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method.

  • Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.

5. Exceptional Circumstances

Moviist reserves the right to make exceptions in cases of genuine emergencies or unavoidable circumstances. We aim to handle each situation fairly and with understanding.
